If all the 2010 Corvette coupe offered was acceleration, braking and handling equal to high-dollar exotics, it would still be the darling of san diego corvette buffs. But a surprising level of utility comes along for the ride, too. The Corvette coupe offers a user-friendly cockpit, a massive amount of luggage space and a ride quality that's comfortable enough for daily san diego corvette commuting and long freeway slogs.
Officially, the 2010 Chevrolet Corvette is shown as coming in two body styles: a coupe and a convertible. But in reality, there are three: the removable-top coupe, fixed-roof coupe and convertible. The standard Corvette coupe features a removable roof panel, whereas the Corvette Z06 coupe's roof looks the same, but is fixed in place for improved rigidity. The convertible should appeal to san diego corvette roadster enthusiasts and, like Corvette roadsters before it, features a hideaway top.
, the 2010 Corvette coupe can lap a racing circuit nearly as quickly as the previous-generation Z06, a legendary car. The new LS3 engine rumbles wonderfully, and the acceleration it produces is intoxicating.
2010 brings an all-new V8 engine for the Corvette Coupe and Convertible to San Diego Corvette dealers. The new LS3 V8 is larger, at 6.2 liters versus the previous 6.0-liter LS2 engine. Output is now 430 horsepower, an increase of 30. An optional dual-mode exhaust system raises horsepower to 436.
Given the Corvette Z06's performance, one of its most useful tech features is the heads-up display. This display projects the car's speed and a graphic of an analog tachometer on the front windshield. The display's position is adjustable, so you can put it close to your forward line of sight, or keep it closer to the hood. It has a number of different modes that show additional information, such as oil temperature and lateral G-forces. In practice, San Diego Corvette customers found it works extremely well, and we relied on it to quickly to check our speed.
The six-speed, manual transmission has good gear ratios. You can't also afford to overlook the powertrain specifications. The 2009 - 2010 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 has got the power of 6.0-liter ohv V8 engine capable of generating 400 horsepower at 6000 RPM. The engine comes with 4-speed automatic transmission facility. Thanks to 4-speed automatic system, the 2009 2010 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 offers fabulous fuel economy - 18 miles per gallon in the city and 25 miles per gallon on highways. The 2009 2010 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 has been assembled in Bowling Green, Kentucky and San Diego Corvette Dealers have a good supply.
The Z06 has larger brakes, along with engine, transmission and differential oil coolers, steering fluid cooler, beefed-up suspension bits and more. Despite all of this added hardware, the Z06 actually weighs 49 pounds less than standard Corvette coupes, with a total curb weight of 3,130 pounds. By comparison, Aston Martin's DB9 weighs 3,770 pounds, and Maserati GranSport weighs 3,725 pounds.
The Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 is in short supply, but San Diego Corvette dealer, Bob Stall Chevrolet has a large allocation of Corvette ZR1's.
